🎄New Year 2025 Event

Your mission in the New Year 2025 is to stop the boss – Mr. Green, from stealing all your gifts. Pelt him with Snowballs until they cowardly flee!

The event consists of 2 parts:

Main Part – Battle against the boss. Duration: Dec 24 – Jan 17 | 13:00 UTC
Results Summary– Reward claim for contributing to the event. This part begins either after the main part ends or sooner, if you defeat Mr. Green! Duration: 72 hours.

Display

The New Year 2025 event will be displayed separately from all other events in the lobby. On the event banner, you’ll be able to see:

Stage duration time
Current HP of Mr. Green and his maximum HP

By clicking on the banner, you’ll be taken to the event window.

By default, the event window will open in the leaderboard toggle.

In this toggle, you’ll see the following:

The total event pool in $SIDUS;
The current progress of users completing each stage;

The event will take place in 5 stages. Each stage corresponds to a percentage of the $SIDUS pool. The more stages you complete, the more $SIDUS you’ll claim from the event pool! Here’s how the reward for each stage is calculated:

If the stage is completed, all users collectively receive:
- (Stage percentage of the pool * Event pool) + Reward from the previous stage.
If the stage is not fully completed, all users collectively receive:
- (Stage percentage of the pool / 2) * (Event pool) * (Current total user damage / Required damage to complete the Main Part) + Reward from the previous stage.
Event Fund percentages & corresponding percentage of maximal HP by stage:
- Stage 1 - 5% and 10%
- Stage 2 - 10% and 30%
- Stage 3 - 15% and 50%
- Stage 4 - 25% and 70%
- Stage 5 - 45% and 100%

You can find this information in the tooltip by hovering over the "i" icon in the Current Stage block.

You'll find a table below the blocks displaying the event pool and the current progress.

This table shows the leaderboard of users who dealt the most damage to the boss, or in this case, Mr. Green. The more damage you deal, the more $SIDUS you’ll earn.

Additionally, if the Thief is defeated, users on the leaderboard will receive an extra reward from the Reward for Boss Defeat column.

And how do you deal damage, you ask? Let’s figure it out!

Snowball Crafting

To deal damage to the boss, you’ll need Snowballs. Simply click the Attack button next to the Snowball, and it’ll fly straight at the boss!

How do you get snowballs, and what are they crafted from? Dive in:

Common Icy Snowball. Deals 10 damage. Crafted from 10 Snow Sprinkles and 1 Ice Chamber
Epic Electric Snowball. Deals 150 damage. Crafted from 10 Icy Snowballs and 1 Electric Chamber
Legendary Fire Snowball. Deals 2,250 damage. Crafted from 10 Electric Snowballs and 1 Fire Chamber

You can earn the Snowballs and mentioned Chambers for Effective battle victories!

Snow Sprinkle: quantity 10 - 100, drop chance - 100%
Icy Snowball: quantity 1 - 10, drop chance - 15%
Electric Snowball: quantity 1 - 3, drop chance - 3%
Fire Snowball: quantity 1, drop chance - 1%
Ice Chamber: quantity 1 - 10, drop chance - 15%
Electric Chamber: quantity 1 - 3, drop chance - 4%
Fire Chamber: quantity 1, drop chance - 1%

New Year 2025 Event window in the Quests toggle

In the “Quests” toggle, you’ll see a list of quests that grant rewards upon completion. You’ll also earn additional rewards for the total number of quests you complete!

Results Summary

When this stage begins, you’ll be able to claim your well-deserved reward for participating in the event! Didn’t manage to log in and claim your reward? No worries—once the event ends, the reward will be credited automatically.

New Loot boxes

New event loot boxes will also become available!

The Common Ice Cube loot box can be purchased in the store.
The Epic and Legendary loot boxes can be earned through event progress. These are super rewards for completing the toughest quests and achieving all quest goals. Additionally, for defeating Mr. Green, the top leaderboard users will receive them as a bonus reward.

Important Details of the Event:

All holiday assets will be removed from the Inventory after the second part of the event ends, i.e., after the “Results Summary”
No matter what asset a scholar earns in battle, the boss will only receive Snow Sprinkles from it. Below is the table showing how many Snow sprinkles the boss receives depending on the asset earned by the scholar:
- 10 Snow Sprinkle earned by the scholar → 1 Snow Sprinkle received by the boss
- 1 Icy Snowball → 10 Snow Sprinkles
- 1 Electric Snowball → 100 Snow Sprinkles
- 1 Fire Snowball → 1,000 Snow Sprinkles
- 1 Ice Chamber → 1 Snow Sprinkle
- 1 Electric Chamber → 10 Snow Sprinkles
- 1 Fire Chamber → 100 Snow Sprinkles
Epic & Legendary Ice Cubes will appear on the Marketplace after the “Results Summary” if the boss, i.e., Mr. Green, is defeated.
You will also receive rewards in the form of New Year event items based on your current rankings in the game.
