Races and Collections
There are currently three alien races in the game. New races will be added to the game in future updates. All of them participate in the construction of the Station, the extraction of resources and battles.
Each race has its own abilities.

The home planet of Voltrones is called Volto, a rocky planet with hot temperatures and different altitudes. Vegetation is sparse and there is a rather serious shortage of water. These conditions played an important role in the development of Voltrones' heightened social skills. Within their community, they are extremely sociable, almost at the level of telepathic communication and similar abilities manifest when communicating with other races. Biologically, Voltrones themselves are composed predominantly of silicon compounds, which gives rise to significant resistance to most biological influences. There is atavism within this race, with glands that produce an electric current. Their history is quite smooth, with a lot of subtle politics and diplomacy.
Voltrones inherently discharge an Electric Impact, have 20% Electric Mastery and 20% Electric Resistance. They deal the lowest Damage of 29-33 with their race-based Ability but have the highest Health of 420 and their Initiative is 60. Use of their race-based Ability on their allies puts a protective shield around them that is proportional in power to the number of Defense Skill Points they have.

Raptorians’ native planet is Sarisuru, which is essentially a large swamp, acting much like a huge test tube in which life has been in full swing for thousands of years. The genetics on Sarisuru have given birth to a huge number of species, most of whom have not survived, which makes Raptorians one of the most amazing examples of the diversity of nature. Every Raptorian is unique in their own way and yet, they share many similarities with one another, especially at the community and family level, to whom they are very attached. Centuries of protracted civil wars have taught Raptorians to survive in the most difficult of conditions, they have learned to be secretive and inconspicuous and their ability to form symbiotic relationships with other Sarisuru species is amazing.
Raptorians inherently discharge a Hydro Impact, have 20% Hydro Mastery and 20% Hydro Resistance. Their race-based Ability causes the highest Damage of 35-39 but they have the lowest Initiative of 58 and their Health is 380. Using their race-based Ability on their teammates restores their HP according to how many Defense Skill Points they have, which makes Raptorians indispensable in team battles.

The home planet of the Ogya race is called Kshass and it’s a fiery world of changeable landscape formations and black clouds. Ogya, like Voltrones, are almost entirely made of stone, except with a high content of Tungsten and Plutonium. These Heroes are radioactive and glow a little in the dark, so they must undergo a deactivation procedure before going into space. They have invented uncannily ingenious devices that, according to rumor, can even be assembled from stones and made to work. The organs responsible for their internal secretions produce a liquid that has a high octane number. Psychologically, Ogya are individualists who live in small settlements and rarely make contact with each other. Their lifespan is extremely long and their method of reproduction is a very lengthy and complex process.
Ogya inherently produce a Thermo Impact, have 20% Thermo Mastery and 20% Thermo Resistance. When this race uses its race-based Ability, the average Damage they cause is 33-37, their average Health is 400 and their average Initiative is 59. Extending their race-based Ability to their allies guarantees an increase in the level of Damage dealt to their enemies.
SIDUS HEROES is an NFT-oriented game that begins with the closed beta version. Only NFT holders have access to the metaverse, are able to fight in Arenas, can exercise power in the Council, can instigate level ups and enjoy farming loot boxes with exclusive drops, while enjoying many other benefits
You can find out how to buy and use these NFTs here.
The ecosystem of SIDUS products includes three NFT collections:

SIDUS ACADEMY (NEW COLLECTION) is a collection of NFTs that serve as tickets to the gaming metaverse and are available to the general public. The release of SIDUS ACADEMY was in January 2022.

The SIDUS ACADEMY (NEW COLLECTION) is a set of NFTs that transform into playable characters. Owning NFTs from this collection secures holders’ access to the game and its multiple earning opportunities. SIDUS ACADEMY NFTs are available for purchase and have 3 Rarity Levels - Common, Epic and Legendary.
Depending on their Rarity, these characters come with different bonuses:

SIDUS GENESIS (NEW COLLECTION) is a collection of NFTs that originate from SIDUS NFT HEROES (OLD COLLECTION). NFTs from the new collection will also have 3 Rarity Levels that correspond to the initial NFT and will have unique traits. If you start out with an Original NFT Hero (the most common type), you will get a Genesis Common NFT (playable character). If you have a Rare NFT Hero - an Original Hero that’s been upgraded to Rare using a special upgrade card - you will get a Genesis Epic playable character in NFT form. If you're among the most elite Legendary NFT Heroes, you can claim a playable Genesis Legendary NFT Hero.
All Genesis Heroes can receive Polygons for winning in the Arenas. They also come with the following benefits:

Important notes:
- If you purchased any Rare and/or Legendary upgrade cards before June 24th 2022, you will have had the chance to redeem them before claiming your playable NFT. Upgrade cards before this date could be used on the website sidusheroes.com/heroes to convert your character into a Rare or Legendary NFT Hero.
- Playable characters will differ visually from the NFTs belonging to SIDUS NFT HEROES (OLD COLLECTION).
Holders of NFTs from the old collection could choose between two options: (1) to get a playable character, or (2) to get an NFT from SIDUS GENESIS (NEW COLLECTION) that can later be turned into a playable character for resale. The end result is the same but which option is most suitable depends on what your goals are. Either way, to take advantage of this opportunity, holders of NFT Heroes from the old collection have to lock their NFTs for a 180-day period, without the possibility of an early unlock. Your NFT Hero remains idle while you get to enjoy the game.

Note: 1 NFT Hero from the SIDUS NFT HEROES (OLD COLLECTION) entitles you to 1 NFT from the SIDUS GENESIS (NEW COLLECTION) or 1 playable character per lock.
The SIDUS NFT HEROES COLLECTION (OLD) is not in the game, for now.

SIDUS NFT HEROES (OLD COLLECTION) is a collection of 6,000 characters, each with 13 unique traits and one of three Rarity Levels - Original, Rare or Legendary. The collection was launched in August 2021 and these NFTs are available on the secondary market. To become a Rare or Legendary NFT Hero, you need to have used upgrade cards before June 24th 2022. These cards are available on OpenSea.
Question: Are there still cards being shared? Or is the team itself selling cards?
Answer: No, the team is not selling cards but we have a small pool of Genesis cards that we use for community activities. Follow our socials and you won’t miss anything.
Question: If staking one Genesis NFT Hero generates an unlimited number of Heroes, what’s the incentive to stake more than one?
Answer: The incentive is to save time. A one-year Hero lock is quite a long time and for successful gaming activity, it helps to have as many Heroes as you can. Therefore, it makes much more sense to lock several cards at once and get several Heroes than to lock one card over and again for many years.
Question: How will new players be able to buy new characters after all the NFTs have sold out?
Answer: We plan to issue new NFTs every time there is a new game added. You can always participate in the Scholarship program and borrow a Hero. And of course, you can buy them right now on OpenSea before their prices skyrocket! There will always be an option for new players, please do not worry about that!
Question: Will Heroes only be Common, Epic, and Legendary? Or will they also be Uncommon, Unique, and Rare in the future?
Answer: We do not plan to change the number of rarities.
Question: What happens to the % boost for manufacturing with Genesis now that Replicants will be used? Is this chart relevant any more?
Answer: We are constantly adding utilities to the NFTs, as they are our most beneficial collection. We will update the table soon so that you can see the latest information.
