Limit Account to Increase Security

Introducing Sidus ID, a unified system of authorization for your Account. We are going to gradually add sections to it, expanding the functionality. Here is what we have to offer so far:

Account Security

“Security” is a new section in your Personal Account. Here, you will gradually access the functionality related to your account's security. Here is a detailed breakdown of the first stage that’s already been developed—the Feature Lock function that limits your Account.

Why do you need it?

Let’s review what happened before the feature so the result will be better highlighted.

  • Before, once you’d realized your Account was hacked and your wallet was accessed without your permission, you would bring up the issue with our Support, and we would manually block your account. As a result, you would miss out on activities, harming your progress.

  • Now, if you realize you’ve been hacked, follow the steps:

  • Log onto your Personal Account.

  • Hit “Edit Profile”

  • Hit “Lock Features.

As a result, you can still use several gaming features, while the culprit could soon lose interest.

NOTE: The same goes for users whose Accounts have already been blocked by our Support per their request. These users can now access their Accounts with limited features, with no need to repeat the mentioned steps.

What does the Account Limit entail?

When you hit the “Lock Features” button in the Security section of your Personal Account, you will limit your Account and will no longer be able to use the following features:

  • Store module access

  • Marketplace module access

  • Reproduction Facility module access

  • Organization module access

  • Bank module access

  • Ability to release Hero cards.

The action will not be completed right away, and the system will ask for your confirmation in a pop-up window.

After confirmation, your status in the Security section will change to “Your Account is limited,” as shown in the pic below.

Now, the possible culprits will also be unable to access the locked functionality, and a pop-up message will read “Access Denied.”

NOTE: In order to unlock the functionalities again, you will have to wait for the next stages of Sidus ID.

FAQ

What will happen if I hit the “Lock Features” button in the Account Limit section?

You will be presented with a double confirmation window. This window will have all the detailed information.

If I limit my Account, how can I undo the action?

You can’t at this point. You will have to wait for the next stages of Sidus ID to make it possible.

If the “Lock Features” button is available to everyone who has access to the Account, then an attacker can click it; what’s the point?

If this happens:

  1. You will know that someone else has access to your Account.

  2. The attacker will be trapped and will not be able to benefit from hacking your Account.

How do I change my wallet address for login?

You can't at the moment. But this option will be available in the future.

What happens to my Account if I’ve been previously blocked after a hack?

If we’ve blocked your Account per your request previously, it is now unblocked, but the Account Limit has been implemented to partially lock the features. It gives you the option to keep on playing.
