📄Hero Upgrade Center Guide

Hero Upgrade Center (HUC) allows users to upgrade the economic level (rank) of their Heroes and earn rewards for doing so. Here is a detailed overview of all processes involved, as well as the definitions you might need to better understand what is going on in the Module.

E-Level, or Economic Rank

E-level (otherwise used as rank) is each Hero’s economic level, a parameter featured in some collections. At this point, only the Academy & Genesis NFT collections will have the option of economic rank upgrade available:

  • Common - 8 ranks

  • Epic - 10 ranks

  • Legendary - 12 ranks

Read more about the possible returns in the Hero Progression Guide.

The availability of the economic level-up option means that the Heroes from the mentioned two collections will have access to the HUC Module.

Here are several other benefits that come with each E-level:

  • Elevated Collection Rarity of the Hero, and, subsequently, your Account

  • Gradual access to professions

  • Rewards - the distribution amount is fixed in USD and paid in $SIDUS tokens at the exchange rate at the time of claim

In order to increase the Hero's rank, you need to gain rank points for victories in battle and contribute resources. Here’s more about rank points.

Rank Points

Gaining the necessary number of rank points (RP) is one of the conditions for a Hero upgrade. For this, you need the following sequence:

  • Take at least 1 Hero from the Academy or Genesis collections

  • Assign it to a team through the lobby

  • Hit ‘Fight’ and let the battle unfold! You will get points for each victory

  • The daily limit is 25 battles

  • Higher rank = more points for each victory!

For organization co-owners, the rented-out Heroes of the mentioned collections will receive x10 less points than owned Heroes. This will allow you to upgrade all the Heroes you have in your organization but NOT get an unfair advantage.

Rank points can be tracked through the Hero Cards in the bottom right corner.

Additionally, you can track RP through the battle results window under the Level bar.

Once you have gained the required amount of RP, the “UP” button will appear in the bottom right corner, which will take you directly to HUC to upgrade the Hero. You can also simply go to the Module and select the desired Hero.

It’s time to find out more about the HUC Module, Hero progression, upgrade speed boost, and more.

Hero Upgrade Center (HUC)

As mentioned, the HUC is a Module for ranking up your Heroes (from Academy and Genesis collections, at this point), i.e., increasing their E-level. Once your Hero’s rank goes up, you get a reward and Collection Rarity (CR) elevation. How does it work? Let’s see.

Hero Selection

You can select the Hero you want to upgrade on the left side of the interface. If there are many Heroes to choose from, you can use filters. The selected Hero is displayed in the middle.

For your convenience, the prize pool is shown at the bottom, corresponding to the Rarity of the selected Hero and his collection. The progress bar for the prize pool decreases as other players upgrade their rank and take their rewards for the appropriate place in the Leaderboard. That’s why each player has to hurry. The rewards will drain the pool fast! First come – first serve. Players who finish the E-Level Up process ahead of others receive more $SIDUS tokens than those who finish later.

Reminder! The entire pool stands at 1.2 billion $SIDUS and is divided into 3 parts, according to Card Rarity:

  • Common - 240,000,000 $SIDUS

  • Epic - 360,000,000 $SIDUS

  • Legendary - 600,000,000 $SIDUS

Upgrade Conditions

The upgrade conditions for each Hero, i.e., the necessary resources, RPs, etc., are displayed on the right side of the screen. Let’s discuss each of them.

#1 – RPs

The necessary amount of rank points must be collected. If you want to speed up the progression, you can use the following options:

  • Hero combinations within the Academy collection (Epic and Legendary Heroes have an RP bonus for the whole team)

  • Boosters from Bonus Boxes, received in return for Token Lock activity

  • The gadget book received in the New Year's Book Hunt event Dec 28-Jan 18, 2024

#2 – Resources

Once you have won enough battles and fulfilled the RP expectations, the next requirement for Hero progression will be to obtain the necessary resources (or buy them in the Marketplace).

Next to the RP and estimated reward, you will see the status of the token lock bonus at the current rank of the selected Hero.

NOTE: If you don't apply the bonus at the current rank, i.e., before the upgrade, you will still get a new rank bonus after the upgrade, but the previous one will be irrevocably lost. If you do apply it, you will instantly get the bonus for the selected option.

Read on for more details.

Upgrade Process

When all conditions are met, you can start the upgrade process!

NOTE: During the upgrade process, the Hero will be unavailable for any activity (similar to the reproduction capsule).

There will also be corresponding statuses on the Hero Card informing you that the upgrade is in progress. The upgrade itself will commence in several steps. Take a closer look at each of them:

Step #1 – push the ‘Rank Up’ button in the lower-right part of the screen. It will light up only when the upgrade conditions are met (see Upgrade Conditions).

Step #2 – You will see a confirmation window with all the resources you are willing to contribute for the upgrade, and the estimated reward. If you agree, hit ‘Confirm.’

Step #3 – Wait until the process is complete and take your place in the Leaderboard. Depending on the Rarity of the Hero and their rank, the upgrade might take from 1 to 26 days, but that time can be accelerated using Experience Cards (read on for info). Once the upgrade timer runs out, you’re fixed in a certain place on the Leaderboard and will be granted the reward in accordance with that place. Please note that whoever finishes the process first (according to the timer) will occupy the highest available place.

E-level Up (Rank Up) Acceleration

For all the lucky Experience Card holders, we are happy to announce that this resource will be a payment to accelerate the upgrade! For all other users, Experience Cards are available on the Marketplace. You can also craft them out of three new parts, which will appear in the Bonus Boxes (get them in the Token Lock activity).

You can accelerate the process using the ‘Speed Up’ button from the main menu of the Module or the Leaderboard.

The user who speeds up the process takes the nearest unoccupied place in the Leaderboard. This is a race, in a way. Acceleration will help you beat the other players who are also waiting for the upgrade to finish.

When all the mentioned steps are complete, all that's left to do is click ‘Get Rank Reward.’ Your reward will be taken, and your ranked-up Hero will return to service!

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard is a dynamic table that helps you keep track of the awards you qualify for.

There’s a separate Leaderboard and its own rewards for each Hero Card Rarity and rank. Set up filters to see the appropriate rewards and the unoccupied positions, and decide which hero you want to upgrade!

With the help of filters, you can instantly find the nearest unoccupied spot by clicking 'Unoccupied places only.' Use it to claim the top spots on the leaderboard right now!

Token Lock

As mentioned previously, by participating in the Token Lock activity, you can get Bonus Boxes with each of your Heroes. To do that, follow the sequence:

  • Go to the Token Lock

  • Choose the level that suits you

  • Lock the necessary amount of $SIDUS for 99 days

  • Get Bonus Boxes

  • Wait for the return of your $SIDUS to the balance once the timer runs out

You will get your $SIDUS back in 99 days. If you need more reassurance, you can track your lock in the ‘Lock History’ section.

REMEMBER! – The Token Lock will be available again on a particular Hero after rank-up, and you can repeat it. This is exactly how you get unique Bonus Boxes!

Now it’s time for another unveil. We have discussed various Bonus Box surprises; now it’s time to finalize the list.

Bonus Boxes. More details

Bonus Boxes become available in the Inventory (Lootbox section) after you launch Token Lock. The Boxes may contain various items. They drop from any version of the Box, but the chance of a drop and the quantity of the loot inside is greater with the rarer Box: Common < Epic < Legendary.

Here are all the items in Bonus Boxes:

  • Resources

    • Progression resources that will be useful at ranks above the 4th.

  • Rank Point Booster

    • When dropped, it automatically activates for a certain amount of time. For this time, within the framework of 25 effective victories, earned RPs are increased.

    • The booster is displayed in the lobby (on the right) in the Boosters menu.

    • The boost applies to the entire account: it lasts for 4 hours and increases the earned rank experience by 15%.

Bonus Boxes can also contain parts for crafting various items. Once dropped, all the parts will appear in a separate “Parts” section of the Inventory. Here are the parts available through Bonus Boxes:

  • Experience Card Parts

    • Parts necessary to craft an Experience card, with which you can accelerate the rank-up process.

    • Collect three different parts dropped from a Box and combine them into an Experience Card.

    • This item is used to accelerate the rank upgrade process.

    • One Experience Card speeds up the process by 72 hours, bringing you closer to a higher rank and greater rewards.

  • Weapon Blueprints

    • Parts for crafting Tier 2-6 weapons, improved versions of weapons that exist in the game.

    • By using the dropped blueprints in assembly, you will obtain upgraded weaponry, which can be used in battles or sold on the marketplace (the blueprint itself can also be sold).

    • In addition to its combat stats, the upgraded version of the weapon will be useful in other areas as well, but more on that later.

  • Commander Rank Parts

    • Pieces for a special item that will expand the number of license slots when applied by one unit (+1 license slot).

    • Maximum of 2 uses per account (functionality in progress).

    • Tradable asset.

Unlock

How does the token unlock work? Fairly simple! Just go to Lock History, and when the timer runs out, click on the ‘Claim’ button.

For your convenience, the table contains all Token Locks from all Heroes of all ranks. Thus, you can easily click on the ‘Claim All’ button in the bottom right corner and collect them all in one click!
